ENTERING HUNGARY 2020 – for the students of the University of Miskolc

Please read the  entry regulations of the University of Miskolc   to protect the community of the University from COVID-19 infection.

 In case you are from a VISA bound country

You may enter Hungary with a valid D-type VISA or a valid residence permit.

All  freshmen received a CERTIFICATE by now form the University of Miskolc  which confirms that the he/she  will start  education at the University. 

Print the document complete the missing parts by hand (place of quarantine: Miskolc) sign it and take it with you to show at the border.  

Students  will undergo a medical check-up at the border  for signs of Covid-19 infection.

• If there is  suspicion of infection, you will be required to stay in  the type of quarantine for 14 days designated by the Authotity.
• If there is no suspicion of infection, you will be also required to stay in quarantine for 14 days.
• Please note that as of 1 September NO SARS-CoV-2 tests results brought from abroad is accepted. 

After your arrival you have to fill out a Covid Form. You to get registered at the Bureau of Public Health and register for PCR tests. Details will come later.

You can be exempted from quarantine if within 5 days you have 2 PCR tests (between the 2 tests there shall be minimum of 48 hours difference) done. In case both results are negative you can be exempted from quarantine after the second negative result.  Details  of the process from administrative point of view will come later.

In case you are from a non-VISA bound country 

You shall submit online an entry request to the Hungarian Police. The entry request can be submitted in English or in Hungarian electronically only. You may submit the request here: https://ugyintezes.police.hu/en/uj-ugy-inditasa/

The COVID test of Stipendium Hungaricum students are covered by the SH health allowance.
